Established in 1858, Campbell's of Beauly is a privately owned and family run country tailor and outfitters. This iconic business is one of the oldest tailoring specialists in the Highlands and since 2017 carries the Royal Warrant for the supply of tailored goods to Her Majesty the Queen.
Their store in the heart of Beauly, 10 miles west of Inverness, offers a range of ready to wear and bespoke garments. Campbell’s experienced team of tailors and seamstresses produce this bespoke range on-site. Mr Tom Owen, their Head Tailor has been with the company since 1970 where he trained under his own father for 16 years.
In 2015 as the Campbell family retired, John and Nicola Sugden took over the business. Maintaining the traditional charm of Campbell’s is important to them:
“Campbell’s retail emporium is an experience in itself with a truly original and characterful charm to its rustic and vintage appearance. The alchemy of the original fixtures and fittings from 1858 with the contemporary products sold today makes for both a unique appearance and experience.”
John made the trip over to see our collection and work on fabric developments this week. Visit the Campbell's of Beauly store to see their range of menswear, ladieswear and gifts.
