Bill Macleod of Stornoway
The advent of Christmas is upon us and there is a consistent chill in the air but it's perfect weather for tweed.
Along with the landscape, weavers and unique process it is you our people that make Harris Tweed what it is so in light of this fact we will be featuring 'tweedstars' from all around the world over the next few months.
Our inaugural tweedstar is Bill Macleod of Stornoway here in the Outer Hebrides. Bill is a well known figure on the Islands and a long term Harris Tweed fan; "This jacket is only twenty years old, I have four for five older ones at home".
Just like Harris Tweed fabric itself, this suave septuagenarian is proof that some things just get better with age.
