Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week (flexible or part time hours will be considered).
Location: Shawbost Mill, North Shawbost, Isle of Lewis

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Carding Engineer to join our company, with an immediate start available.
Based at our Shawbost Mill facility on the Isle of Lewis & Harris, the successful candidate will lead the carding team to maximise production efficiency and output while ensuring optimal machine performance through effective maintenance, process improvements, and quality control.
This senior role requires an experienced professional with the skills and expertise to meet production demands. Strong engineering, planning, management, and communication skills are essential.

Essential Experience:
Extensive engineering experience within a woollen carding environment.
- Carding experience related to the production and management demands of a textile mill.
- Experience at a supervisory or management level in textile manufacturing.
- Good understanding of health and safety, and environmental protocols.
Renumeration:
A competitive rate of pay will be offered based on experience, plus a profit related bonus and membership to the company pension scheme.
